Thornton & Ross chooses UCP’s PP28 TE cap to re-launch Covonia

Thornton & Ross has replaced standard screw closures and shrink sleeves on Covonia and other liquid pharmaceutical products with UCP’s PP28 tamper-evident closure for the re-launch of the UK’s number two cough brand, ahead of a national television and radio advertising campaign to raise brand awareness this winter. With PP28 TE, which uses the Vistop tamper-evident band, Thornton & Ross has gained a cost effective and efficient tamper-evident closure system, removing the need for the additional sleeving operation after capping.

In order to achieve a family image, Thornton & Ross has also replaced conventional Clic-Loc with UCP’s PP28 Clic-Loc tamper-evident child resistant closure on those products requiring additional consumer safety.
