Clic-Loc® is Europe’s leading child-resistant closure and, for more than 30 years, UCP has supplied a wide range of end-use markets including pharmaceuticals, household, DIY and automotive products.

To complement the Clic-Loc® range of CRCs for pharmaceuticals, UCP’s most recent technical development is PP28mm Medi-Loc®, a child-resistant tamper-evident closure for the pharmaceutical market, which has passed the more demanding protocol testing standards for child-resistant packaging under ISO 8317:2003.  The company has adapted the Clic-Loc® CRC and Vistop® tamper-evident ring technology (Tamper-Evident Closures) to achieve a significantly more compact closure than originally developed in the 1990’s for the liquid pharmaceuticals market.  This has resulted in a weight saving of over 30%.
