UCP has a long-standing reputation for its expertise in the design, development and manufacture of single-piece Squeeze ‘n’ Turn child-resistant systems with a range of standard and custom closures and is prominent the UK market for bleach and toilet cleaning products.  The key feature of these closures is their thread-stop orientation device, which automatically orientates the closure into the correct position for removal by the consumer and provides a pleasing appearance on the retail shelf.

Many closures are supplied with plugs fitted for improved product dispensing so first class cap design and consistent moulding tolerances are essential quality requirements as, prior to capping, the plugs must be retained inside the closure.  However, after capping, the plugs must be retained in the neck of the container before consumer use.  Developed by UCP, Simploc® and Niploc® closures are used extensively for DIY products as they provide a low cost child-resistant solution for hazardous products.
